The Learn to Skate program (Clinic) is our instructional program focused on introducing children of all ages to the sport of ice skating. The program is held most Saturday mornings from 10:30-11:30. The program starts in September and runs through to March.
Prerequisite: First time participants in Woburn Youth Hockey programs must submit a copy of their birth certificate prior to participation.
Fees: The tuition for the Learn to Skate program is $175 and must be paid in full prior to the students participating in the program.
USA Hockey: All participants are required to register with USA Hockey, prior to participating in our program. There is no fee for children under six years old. The USA Hockey cost is not associated with WYH, but covers player insurance while on the ice. To register with USA Hockey please go online to www.usahockeyregistration.com . NOTE: All players are required to dress in an approved hockey helmet with a full cage, hockey skates and gloves when they are on the ice. Additional protective gear, such as full hockey gear, may be worn if desired by the parents and/or the children.
