The City League Mite program is our instructional learn-to-play hockey program. The program will start in September and run through March . Participants skate on average 3 hours per week typically including:
Saturday practices 9:20–10:20 am
Sunday games 10:30 - 11:30 am
Thursday practices or skills sessions 5:00-5:50pm
Practices are formatted using small area station-based drills where each child will rotate through each drill working on a variety of skills. Games are played using half ice format with half ice boards. The format used for both practices and games allows for more puck touches, less waiting, and higher repetition of each drill, allowing for the best environment for kids to develop.
Prerequisite: All participants must have completed a Learn to Skate program before they are eligible to participate in our City League Mite program. First time participants in Woburn Youth Hockey programs must also submit a copy of their birth certificate prior to participation.
Fees: Registration fee is $100 due prior to the first practice, with the tuition balance of $600 due in FULL before 1st practice.
